Amane Hikaru, nicknamed Dabide or David, is a member of the Rokkaku-chuu tennis team from the shounen sports series Tennis no Oujisama. His trademark is his long racket, which has been custom made by Ojii, the Rokkaku coach. He plays doubles with Kurobane Harukaze, more familiarly known as Bane.
There is another thing Dabide is famous for, other than his racket and powerful tennis play - his bad puns, or dajare (hence the name of this fanlisting). They're usually spoken with a deadpan face and followed by a little snicker. Bane-chan usually whacks or kicks him when Dabide comes up with yet another bad pun. Despite (or because of) that, Dabide is an endearing character and a serious athlete.
